New Beauty Buys
I feel like I rarely change up my beauty regimen. I’ve been using the same MAC eyeliner for years and I’m pretty sure I’ve never worn any powder other than Bare Minerals. I’m what you could call a loyal customer. Once I find a product that I like, I’m not going to stray. I don’t know what’s gotten into me lately but I’ve been trying out some new beauty products and these are my faves!
Tangle Tamer | I can’t win with my hair. When I get out of the shower it’s a huge, tangled mess. Tears are forming in my eyes and I want to hurl my hairbrush across the bathroom. This is why we condition, right?! Here lies the problem. My hair is so oily that I can only use conditioner on my ends. If I get conditioner any where near my roots, I might as well have not washed my hair. UGH! Insert: Tangle Tamer. I can brush my hair from root to tip in 5 seconds and there is not a snag or tangle in sight. I don’t know how it works but it does! Y’all are going to think I am the lamest person in the world for this one but I live and breathe for this thing.
Drying Lotion by Mario Badescu | Cason has had this drying lotion for a while now and I always sneak into her room with a Q-tip and use hers. (The joys of having a sister!) Last time I was at Ulta I finally bought myself one and it’s worth its weight in gold. I don’t know what’s in this magic pink potion but if you have a breakout coming up and put this stuff on it, it vanishes! It’s a fast-acting, ache spot treatment that helps treat your breakouts overnight.
Olay Age Defying Classic Night Cream | The time has arrived and I’m not sure how I feel about it. I’m almost at the eve of my 27th birthday and I’m using an anti-aging night cream. I consulted my beauty guru Cason and she agreed that it was time. It’s a non-greasy moisturizer that helps renew your skins youthful glow while you sleep. If a product promises to renew my youthful glow while I sleep, who am I to turn that down? I have really loved this budget friendly night cream. It’s doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily and it smells great!
My July beauty purchases went great- I am definitely going to keep using 3 out of 3 products! Anyone have any recommendations for products I should try out in August?
